Gillian has been crafting and executing fine framing designs since 2002 when she first trained as a custom picture framer in Donvale. Since then she has had the pleasure of framing an enormous range of artworks and objects.

Inspired Framing was born from a desire to create a tailor-made picture framing experience.
Inspired Framing’s home consultation service offers a unique approach to artwork framing. Gillian provides exquisite framing designs and invaluable insight into how your artwork will blend with your interior décor. She also advises you on how to hang your new artwork and current frames more effectively for a better overall interior look.
When you design in your home or business you are able to blend with the surrounding room whilst creating a framing design that works with the artwork itself. When you are in a framing shop it can be tricky to accurately remember every aspect of your décor. This makes the framing design process a little more haphazard and often the results can be underwhelming and disappointing.
After 10 years as a retail framer, Gillian knew that she wanted to leverage her design talent to provide a more personalised client relationship. This goal was met by fashioning a complete in-home picture framing experience that includes not only framing the artwork but also makes the whole process effortless with home design consults, pick up and delivery – all at a time that suits you.

Here’s how it works…
Your initial consultation (which is free and with no obligation) is purely designed to meet you, your home and your artwork. Gillian will ask questions around whether you have any specific framing design ideas that you would like to incorporate.
At the same time Gillian will photograph and measure your artwork in order to start the design process in her studio. She will also photograph and measure the area where you would like to hang your finished artwork.
During your second consultation, three framing designs will be presented along with full digital frame visualisations, complete wall and room visualisations and all the physical samples. Once you have agreed to go ahead your work can be either fitted on site or taken away, framed and delivered back to you.
Colour, black and white, sepia or whatever masterpiece you’ve created in Photoshop!
