Vintage Peter Pan Postcard Illustration

A timeless illustration from a timeless story and book – The Peter Pan Picture Book 1907.

This gorgeous postcard reproduction depicts Peter Pan and Wendy sharing a little peck on the cheek. From the creative hand of Alice B Woodward, this illustration was one of the first visual representations of JM Barrie’s classic story.

Each postcard is mounted with a custom cut Antiquarian cotton matboard and hand finished with a unique pen and ink embellishment. This style takes its inspiration from the French Matting style which began in the 16th century. I have tailored each design to reflect the colours and textures of the postcard’s art.

Outside frame measures 225mm x 275mm.

Finished in a simple natural oak frame with 2mm glass. Comes with a standback and a hanging option.
